Dr. Nikki Brown has always had a love for animals and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian as a young child. She graduated cum laude with an Animal Science degree from Auburn University, then proceeded to University of Georgia for her DVM.
Not only is Dr. Brown nationally accredited by the USDA, but also licensed to practice in Alabama and Georgia. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Alabama Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Brown has been a speaker for the Academy of Rural Veterinarians, the Animal Wellness Summit, and for upcoming veterinary students.
Since 2007, she has been practicing in small and large animal practice. She founded her mobile veterinary practice with the intent to help those who cannot transport their animals. Through working at traditional veterinary hospitals, time and time again, a need for home care became obvious. Whether for pet anxiety issues or owner convenience – or both – visiting an animal clinic filled with unknown animals and people is just not in the best health interest of some pets.
Since Dr. Brown believes in treating every patient is if they were her own pet, she quickly has become known as “the other family doctor.” It is her goal to serve you and your animals to the best of her ability, with honesty and compassion.
