Brown’s Farm Animal Veterinary Services is a mobile practice that has been proudly serving Phenix City since 2007.

It is a goal to provide the highest level of veterinary medicine through preventative medicine and client education along with friendly, compassionate service in the comfort of your own home.

The mobile veterinary practice is especially convenient for people who have large animals or multiple pets, those who wish to avoid the stress and anxiety of a vet clinic waiting room, or those who lack transportation. Pets are part of the family and Dr. Nikki Brown looks forward to getting to know them as well as you!

I'm at a loss for words to explain how truly excellent Dr. Brown's service and compassion are. We had to make the unfortunate and difficult decision to do at-home euthanasia on our 10 year old dog, Lily. Dr. Brown made the process as calm and peaceful as it could possibly be. Her kindness and professionalism were outstanding, and her bedside manner was more heartfelt than any we had ever experienced from a veterinary service. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Brown to anyone. Dr. Brown was amazing and beyond compassionate helping my sweet pup take his final rest at our home. She helped this fur mama through the most difficult day of my life and I couldn’t have asked for a better exit for my dog. She comforted Buckley in his final moments, anytime I took my hand off of him to wipe my tears, she made sure hers was on him so he was never without a loving touch. I’m so grateful that she was recommended to me and I will gladly pass her name to anyone seeking vet care or at-home final rests.

Dr. Brown and her staff are amazing! They were so throrough and kind as they worked my 11 year old lab in as new client. Since he doesn't see or hear well, and has trouble being disoriented at times, it is extremely difficult to load him up and take him on a vet visit. Having Dr. Brown come to our house to evaluate him was invaluable. Her office staff was so easy to work with, and she is so knowledgable and kind. I am very thankful we were able to get in as patients and I 100% reccomend her!

I can't sing enough praise about Dr. Brown. She was patient, understanding, and spent all the time we needed to understand our furbaby's condition better. Not only Dr. Brown, but Ms. Megan too (the receptionist). Excellent communication delivered through this company. I appreciate being provided tools to be proactive rather than reactive to his condition. We felt properly advised in suggestions of products but never felt that it was pushed on us. My only regret is that I wish that we found Brown's Veterinary sooner.

Called Browns about one of my sick goats. She came out the same day in the worst of weather and took care of my goat. She is so friendly and professional. She went above and beyond for us and could not be more satisfied with her service. She has also called and checked my goat since then and my sweet goat is doing 100 times better. Doctor Brown was great! She was wonderful with our two German Shepards and Golden Retriever. Our one GS is anxious around other people but Doctor Brown calmed her and was able to complete the exam. With the pandemic and changes to some vet practices, Doctor Brown has restored our faith in great animal care. The big bonus was she was able to come to the house to conduct the appointment. What a life saver! Even after other vets allow customers back into their practices, we will be staying with Brown’s Farm Animal Veterinary Services.

Dr.Brown was recommended to me by a Friend of mine My 12 year old lab needed attention asap .and she not only came to our home it was after hrs. She texted me after the visit and several times the next day to see how my lab was doing. She was just so careful and Caring with Sweetie. She goes above and beyond what she would have to do to help you and your Fur babies. Shes very Professional but very caring not only to your animals needs but to yours as well. Dr. Brown has been my vet for over 13 years now. She is the best vet that I have ever used for my horses in the 40+ years I have had them. She is very professional, thorough and dependable. She always communicates very well and answers texts and calls. She explains everything that is going on and answers all of your questions. I am very fortunate to have her as my vet! If I am worried about something, I will call her just to hear the confidence that everything will be OK. And, it shows how much she loves what she is doing. Love this vet!

We have used Dr. Brown for 7-8 years now and have never been disappointed. She loves her job, is a strong Christian woman, shows care and concern for our horses and is simply the BEST Horse Vet we’ve ever had. We have only had to use her for our horses but I know she does other animals as well. I love that we can set an appointment with her and she shows up, she’s on time, and always has everything she needs to care for our horses. To us, this shows that she’s considerate of our time as well as her own. She sends us reminders of when they need vaccines or if they need their teeth filed, she literally does it all. Dr. Nikki Brown is a godsend as far as vets go. She is a genuinely kind person who really loves what she does and the animals respond accordingly. She has a quiet and caring way of putting them at ease. The house calls are 1000 times better than taking your animal to the vet. I highly recommend giving her a call, your animals are much more comfortable in their own home versus a vet's office. I am so grateful to have her as my vet!!

Outstanding Vet! Very punctual and amazing service. Our horse had a bad reaction to a vaccine and Dr. Brown made numerous trips doing everything possible to make sure he recovered. Dr. Nikki Brown is an earth angel! She came to my home to painlessly, gently and compassionately euthanize my 15 year dachshund, Simon, who had begun to suffer terribly from an incurable disease. She patiently explained what she was doing and sat with me during and after the time Simon was put to sleep, petting him, helping me by her calm, professional presence. I can never thank her enough for supporting me through the anguishing experience of losing my heart-dog. And a few days later, she sent the kindest condolence card. I am forever thankful to her.

Dr. Brown is a great equine vet! Moving from Texas to Georgia and trying to find someone I trusted with three of my horses was a stressful experience. Dr. Brown was a blessing to find. She is very punctual and professional. Every time I’ve had an emergency or needed immediate care Dr. Brown made it apparent that my horses were a priority. For someone being disabled and no transportation Dr. Brown was a blessing. Dr. Brown is awesome, she has medically cared for my horse for over 15 years. Her professional and caring attitude has always been beyond reproach. She explains in detail everything that she is doing to your horse and why. The other and probably the most important thing that i like about Dr. Brown is she does it all, emergency farm calls, equine dental services, vaccines and so much more. Dr. Brown is truly a Godsend. My crazy pup doesn’t do car rides well (and when your 70 lb gsd gets carsick it’s not pretty!) and Nikki has always been so patient and kind with both me and my pup. I moved an hour away and still don’t trust anyone else with my Stella’s health so we make the commute even with the car sickness. Now that’s love!!

Dr. Brown has taken care of my creatures for ten years now, and I wouldn't trust their care to anyone else.

First and foremost, she cares about you and your animal. She treats both of you with dignity and respect, caring for both the critter and the family as she would care for her own.

She is a wonderful doctor and human being and we are lucky to be among her clients/patients.

We moved 3/4 of the way across the country a year ago, and we still miss our Dr. Nikki. You’ve been an amazing Vet for us and for so many, and I’m grateful we remain friends. You were there with me on my hardest day ever. You cried with me and helped us through in grace and love. We appreciated the option for Farm/House calls for our one pup who hated crowds at the Office, and your medical care and advice was always spot on and measured... even when we were emotional! Dr. Brown is an asset to the community! It is a joy to have her come to our home to deal with sick or injured animals instead of having to take them to a clinic when they are already not 100%. She takes her time, answers my 500 questions, and always follows up. If you haven’t tried her, you are missing out! Dr. Nikki has always had the best interest of my critters at mind. She comes out to my house and takes care of my horse, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
